Wombat Public School came along to Murringo Public School to experience the Kitchen Garden Program in action. Wombat are starting their own Kitchen Garden at their school and wanted to see how we do it here in beautiful Murringo.
We cooked a variety of dairy based dishes, as it was National Healthy Bones Week. Students and adults tucked into Cheese and Spinach Triangles, Taboulli, Macaroni and Cheese, Fettucine Carbonara and Banana/Pear Smoothies - YUM!!
We were also visited on the day by Mr Colin Parker, the Regional Director of the Riverina. Mr Parker was very impressed with the program and the students efforts.
